PrivacyWhat we keep, and why.
- What we store
- Your account name, your password as a salted PBKDF2 hash (never the password itself), your characters and their game progress, and the approval status of your account.
- Addresses and logs
- The game server sees the network address you connect from. It is used to limit login attempts, to protect the realm from abuse, and in short-lived server logs.
- Cookies
- One cookie keeps you signed in to this website for up to seven days. It is strictly necessary and contains only your account name and a signature. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, and no third-party trackers.
- Bug reports
- When you report a bug in game, the report stores your text, your character, where you stood and recent server log lines about your session, so staff can fix it.
- Who sees it
- Only HavocRO staff, to run the realm. Nothing is sold or shared with third parties.
- Your choices
- Ask staff to delete your account and its characters at any time.
